MOUNT CALVARY LUTHERAN CHURCH

Meeting, Following, &
Serving Central Phoenix with Jesus

Ash Wednesday

6:30 PM Wednesday, February 18th, 2026

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent. Lent is a period of discipline and heightened spirituality practice ahead of Easter and Holy Week.

The Ash Wednesday service is notable for the imposition of ashes and the reminder of our own mortality.

How we are growing

Join us at 11 am on Sunday for food, fellowship, and spiritual growth through one of our three groups.

Our adult Bible class is learning with language of lament through Dark Clouds, Deep Mercy.

Memento is our fellowship and study of college and 20-something guys.

Our college and 20-something women’s group is working through the small catechism and Confirmation materials.
