Candlelight Christmas Eve
Join us for a warm and peaceful Candlelight Christmas Eve Service at 7:00 PM. This special evening will be filled with traditional carols, Scripture readings, and moments of reflection to celebrate the joy and hope of the season. As the sanctuary glows with candlelight, we’ll gather to honor the birth of Christ and share in the spirit of love and togetherness. All are welcome to experience this beautiful night of worship.

MCLC 75th Anniversary & Potluck
Mount Calvary Lutheran Church is turning 75! Join us on Sunday, October 26th at 11:00 AM to celebrate the cornerstone of Lutheran ministry in Phoenix, AZ. This service will include guest speakers from the past, a choral performance from current members, and a celebration of our church’s future. A potluck will follow after the service.

Pancakes and Patristics with Pastor
An event for MCLC friends who are looking to learn something new. Join us in the lounge at 8 am for a conversation on a document from early church history. This month, we are conversing on the Didache, the first Christian catechism. It’s possibly older than much of the New Testament! And yes, there will be pancakes and breakfast. College Student Day of Blessing
Join us at noon on May 18th to bless college students who have been involved with MCLC over the past school year. You will “adapt” a student by receiving a short bio on him or her. You will be asked to connect with the student periodically over the summer. We hope to see you there as we serve this population of central Phoenix.
Follow Jesus- "I am Baptized"
Baptism is not a one time event. Baptism is our daily calling, consolation, and commissioning. Join Pastor Kurt for a congregation wide study of this sacrament at 11am on May 4th, May 11th, and May 18th.
Easter Sunday Service
This is what it is all about! We joyfully celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. He is founder of our faith and hope of all the world.
Easter Sunday Potluck
The tomb is empty and our hearts are full! Celebrate Easter Sunday by bringing your favorite dish to share with the congregation.
Good Friday
We will hear and reflect on the last words of Jesus. The service will end at 3:00 PM - the hour of His death.
Maundy Thursday
Join us at 6:30 PM to remember Jesus’ institution of Holy Communion and last words to his disciples before His arrest, crucifixion, and resurrection.
Palm Sunday
We begin Holy Week by recalling Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem. Explore the competing and various expectations of people both ancient and modern. We also welcome several guest musicians and brass to our service.
